Chisholm Creeks Cuttin Loose
NFC/FC Chisholm Creek’s Cuttin Loose
Owner: Mark Wasserman
I would like to nominate NFC/FC
Chisholm Creek’s Cuttin Loose (FC Sin City Slick Ace x Miss Kitty From Dodge City) for the GSP Field Dog Hall Of Fame. Cutter was born 10/19/2002 and died 4/23/2008. He was put to sleep at the early age of 5 due to a misdiagnosis of a tumor on the spine which turned out to be an infection in the spine caused by a migrating grass awn that treatment could have cured. Despite being gone at such an early age he has proved to be a very prepotent sire. Cutter was bred by James Zimmerman and was sired by FC Sin City Slick Ace a strong sire in his own right. He, out of Hall Of Famer and National Champion Heidi’s Mighty City Slicker. Cutter’s dam was Miss Kitty From Dodge City by FC Rockin Rollin Billy the 1997 NGSPA National Championship Runner-up. Cutter was owned by Mark Wasserman and was his pick of the litter for a stud fee. He was trained and handled by Keith Gulledge of Blue Dawn Kennels.
Cutter began his Field Trial career with a pair of Derby wins in the spring of 2004. He finished his Field Championship with a pair of back to back major All Age wins in the in March of 2005 at the age of 2 ½. He continued to win in local trials culminating with his National Championship win in October of 2007. Cutter amassed 16 broke stake placements and 28 points in 3 years of AKC competition.
American Field records show 9 wins, 25 winners with 110 placements. Most of Cutters offspring are still on the Field Trial circuit and these numbers will most likely rise significantly. Some of those offspring are just two and three years old. To date
ten of Cutter’s offspring have amassed a total of 3
2 Championship titles and 14 Runners-up. Five of these Championship titles are National Shooting Dog wins and one NSD Runner-up by six different dogs. One is a National Amateur Champion and one National Amateur Championship R-U.

2016 NSDCh Sixxem’s A Cut Above
2016 NAC Llano’s Big Bad Betty
On the AKC side records show Cutter has produced 23 FC, 11 AFC, and 1 Grand FC. His offspring include 4 dogs with National titles including:
FC/AFC Slick’s Cuttin Wild -2X AKC National Pointing Breed Gun Dog Champion/GSPCA National Champion
FC/AFC I’m Maddie – AKC National Pointing Breed Gun Dog Champion
FC/AFC Sixxem’s A Cut Above – GSPCA National Amateur Champion
FC/AFC Llano’s Big Bad Betty – GSPCA National Open Gun Dog Champion
Cutter’s personal win record includes the 2007 GSPCA National Championship and one NGSPA Championship and two Runners-up. He was just coming into his prime when taken from competition. Had he continued in competition his win record most likely would have been impressive. This dog deserves the recognition of a Hall Of Famer. Many of his offspring are being used as sires and although those dogs are young as sires and dams they are carrying on Cutter’s ability to produce outstanding bird dogs. Cutter is the forth in line of outstanding sires that started with NFC and Hall Of Famer Sanjo Sin City Slicker sire of Hall Of Famer & NFC Heidi’s Mighty City Slicker sire of FC Sin City Slick Ace GSPCA National Champion R-U.
